Need help logging in?


Note: after a series of unsuccessful attempts to log in, your account will become locked. If you suspect your Deloitte OnLine account is locked, please bypass this checklist and call Deloitte OnLine Support.

Can you log into this address: http://www.deloitteonline.com?
If you can successfully log in to the above address, your username and password are working correctly. Contact the room coordinator to inquire about your room membership, or contact Deloitte OnLine Support for further assistance.

Have you pressed the CAPS LOCK key on your keyboard by mistake?
Deloitte OnLine passwords are case-sensitive. If your CAPS LOCK is ON, all letters will be typed in upper case. Your username is not case sensitive.

Are you using the correct username and password?

Use this table to check your username and/or password.
Are you an employee of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu or a member firm? I am not an employee. I am an employee.
Username Use full email address. Example: janedoe@clientname.com Use Outlook/Exchange domain name. Example: us\janedoe
Password Use the temporary password emailed to you and change it when you log in. Use Outlook/Exchange password.

Have you forgotten your password?
If you are an external user (not a Deloitte employee) who has previously set up your security questions, use the Forgot your password link on the login page to reset your password. Deloitte employees should use their normal password reset methods.

Is this your first log in attempt and are you using a browser other than Internet Explorer?
If this is your first time logging in to Deloitte OnLine and you are not using Internet Explorer as your browser, the initial sequence of screens presented to a new user may not function properly. Deloitte OnLine is fully compatible with Internet Explorer version 7.

Has your password expired?
If you are an external user (not a Deloitte employee), your password expires every 90 days. If you think your password has expired, contact Deloitte OnLine Support to receive a new temporary password.

If you were prompted by the system to change your password because it will be expiring soon and are now asked to change your password every time you log in, try clearing your browser’s cache. To clear your browser's cache, do the following:

Clear the cache by deleting your temporary Internet files and cookies. If you are still unable to log in to Deloitte OnLine after clearing your cache, contact Deloitte OnLine Support.

Note: if you are using the Deloitte OnLine plugin, it will need to be re-enabled after clearing cache. To enable the plugin, go to your My eRooms page (http://www.deloitteonline.com) and select the plugin option under the Your Profile > Options menu.

Steps for Internet Explorer 7 users:

  1. Select Tools, Internet Options from the menu bar.
  2. When the Internet Options screen opens, select the General tab.
  3. In the Browsing history section, select the Delete... button.
  4. On the Delete Browsing History screen, select the Delete Files button within the Temporary Internet Files section
  5. While still on the Delete Browsing History screen, select the Delete cookies button within the Cookies section
  6. Click the Close button to close the Delete Browsing History screen.
  7. Click OK to close the Internet Options screen.
  8. Close all of your Internet browser windows; re-launch your browser and attempt to log in to Deloitte OnLine.
